UK: Zennor launches Net Zero Carbon Strategy and achieves carbon neutrality in 2020

Zennor Petroleum, the independent UK based oil and gas company engaged in the appraisal, development, and production in the UKCS, supports the goal of the Paris Agreement to achieve a carbon neutral global economy.
In line with that support and as part of its ongoing Net Zero journey, Zennor is launching its
Net Zero Carbon Strategy and announces that it has become
one of the first North Sea E&P companies to achieve carbon neutrality for 2020 in Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions.
This has been achieved initially by offsetting CO2 emissions through programmes aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Turkey: UKOG completes Turkish Resan licence participation agreement with AME

AIM-listed Basur-Resan oil appraisal and exploration licence, it has now also completed the transaction with
Aladdin Middle East ( AME ). Effective forthwith the conduct of the Licence s operations will now be governed by the respective joint operating agreement.
Both the Company and AME will now work towards finalising the design and delivery of a successful
first appraisal well, Basur-3, aimed at establishing the commerciality of the aerially extensive and as yet
undeveloped Basur-Resan oil discovery.
As per the Company s 15 January 2021 announcement, the board views the Licence s forthcoming 2021 appraisal drilling programme to present a compelling and potentially transformational growth opportunity for the Company. Further updates will be issued in due course.
UK: Serica Energy announces OFAC license renewal and corporate update

Serica Energy has received a renewed License and secondary sanctions assurance from the US Office of Foreign Assets Control ( OFAC ) relating to the
North Sea Rhum field, in which the company has a 50% interest. The License and assurance will allow certain U.S. and U.S.-owned or controlled entities and also non-U.S. entities to continue providing goods, services and support to Rhum beyond 28 February 2021; when the current License was due to expire. This will enable operations and production from the Rhum field to continue unaffected.
The previous OFAC License was valid for a period of 16 months. In this case OFAC has issued the License for a period up to 31 January 2023. The License may be renewed on application by Serica assuming the conditions continue to be met.
